First MANA Platica of 2023!
On April 22, 2023, MANA de Imperial Valley hosted special guest speaker Guillermina Gina Nunuez-Mchiri, PH.D. Dean of San Diego State University Imperial Valley for a morning full of community engagement and empowerment. MANA members from all over the Imperial Valley gathered at the El Centro Public Library to grow and learn. The energy in the room was electric! Everyone in attendance lingered on every word in awe of Dr. Gina Nunuez-Mchiri's beautiful stories and life experiences.
These MANA Membership Mixers are designed to unite the community and share in the mission of MANA de Imperial Valley. MANA's membership dues fund local scholarships, youth programs, and community service projects.
